CeeDee Lamb Remains Optimistic About Cowboys' NFC East Prospects
CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, expressed confidence in his team's chances to win the NFC East despite their current 2-4 record and a two-game losing streak. Speaking to reporters ahead of their Week 7 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Lamb stated that the division remains competitive and believes the Cowboys can still seize the opportunity.
Lamb noted that other teams in the division are also struggling, with the New York Giants leading at 3-2-1. He emphasized the importance of turning their performance around, highlighting that the Cowboys still have a chance to reach the playoffs. The team has faced challenges, particularly on defense, ranking poorly in points allowed and run defense, while their offense has scored only 29 points in the last two games.
Quarterback Dak Prescott acknowledged the urgency for the team to secure wins, stressing the need to improve their performance to remain in contention for the playoffs. He pointed out that dropping unexpected games has made their path more difficult.
