However, Cejudo stated that it is premature to label Makhachev as the greatest of all time, emphasizing that Jon Jones holds that title due to his flawless record in title fights. Cejudo ranked Makhachev fourth, alongside Georges St-Pierre, highlighting the importance of title defenses across different weight classes.

While Makhachev has defended his welterweight title and boasts the longest active win streak in the UFC, Cejudo believes that Makhachev requires several more years of dominance to be considered a serious contender for the top spot.
