Celtic Challenge Introduces Home Advantage for Final

The 2026-27 Celtic Challenge will see its final hosted at the venue of the highest-ranked team, moving away from a neutral location. This change aims to increase the competitive stakes for participating teams from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

The tournament begins on December 5, with each team playing five home and away matches during the regular season. The top seed from the semi-finals will host the final, adding further incentive for teams to perform well.

Last season, the Wolfhounds secured their third consecutive title by defeating the Clovers in the final held at Hive Stadium in Edinburgh. The Wolfhounds will kick off the new season at home against Brython Thunder from Wales, while Edinburgh will face Clovers in Ireland and Gwalia Lightning will host Glasgow.
