Celtic Dominates Kilmarnock with Hogh's Hat-Trick
Celtic achieved a decisive 5-1 victory against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, marking the first match on the new grass pitch. Kasper Hogh, the club's record signing, made a significant impact by scoring a hat-trick in the first half, with his first goal coming just 64 seconds into the game.
Following Hogh's initial goal, he netted two more before halftime, capitalizing on Kilmarnock's defensive errors. Benjamin Nygren added a fourth goal shortly after the break, taking advantage of a mistake by Kilmarnock's goalkeeper. Although Michael Schjonning-Larsen managed to score for the hosts, Luke McCowan sealed the win for Celtic with a volley shortly after entering the match.
This victory marks Celtic's second consecutive win in the league, while Kilmarnock has now conceded nine goals in their first two matches of the season.
