Celtic Hosts Celta Vigo in Crucial Europa League Clash

Celtic will host Celta Vigo in the Europa League on October 22 at Celtic Park, aiming to recover from recent defeats. The match is set to kick off at 8pm BST, with live coverage available on TNT Sports 3 in the UK and Paramount+ in the US.

Both teams are in a challenging position, having lost their opening two matches in the tournament. Celtic suffered a 3-1 loss to Ferencváros and a 4-1 defeat against Benfica, placing them 34th in the standings. Meanwhile, Celta Vigo lost narrowly to Omonia and Juventus, sitting at 29th.

Despite their struggles in Europe, Celtic is performing well domestically, recently defeating Hearts 7-1. Key players for Celtic include Camilo Durán, who has scored in his last two matches, while Celta's Hugo Álvarez is their only scorer in the Europa League so far. The match is expected to draw around 3,000 Celta fans to Glasgow.
