Celtic has secured six new players ahead of the UEFA registration deadline, following their unsuccessful bid to qualify for the Champions League. The signings were finalized just before the deadline on Wednesday night.

Among the new arrivals are four loan players, along with 19-year-old midfielder Joel van den Berg from PSV Eindhoven and Swiss right-back Jordan Lotomba. Both van den Berg and Lotomba's contracts were completed shortly before the deadline, with Lotomba signing until the end of the season.

Manager Martin O'Neill expressed satisfaction with the new signings, noting the need for reinforcements after the departures of Johnny Kenny and Reo Hatate. Celtic may still pursue additional signings before the Scottish Premiership deadline on Thursday.
