
CF Montreal Reacquires Midfielder Dante Sealy from Colorado Rapids
CF Montreal has announced the acquisition of midfielder Dante Sealy from the Colorado Rapids for $400,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money. This move marks Sealy's return to Montreal, where he previously played during the 2025 season, achieving a career-high of nine goals and two assists in 30 matches.
Sealy was traded to the Rapids on December 23, 2025, and has since recorded five assists in 20 games this season. Luca Saputo, the managing director of CF Montreal, expressed satisfaction with Sealy's return, highlighting his versatility and familiarity with the team's culture as key factors for a smooth reintegration.
Sealy began his MLS career with FC Dallas, spending his first four seasons with the club before joining Montreal.
