Chad Campbell and Mark Wilson Share Lead at Weather-Delayed Sanford International
Chad Campbell and Mark Wilson were tied for the lead at the Sanford International in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, when play was halted on Friday due to adverse weather conditions.
The PGA Tour Champions event faced disruptions from high winds, leading to a suspension of nearly 4.5 hours before play resumed at 5 p.m. local time. However, lightning later forced another stoppage, preventing any player from completing the first round, which is set to continue Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m.
Campbell had finished 16 holes, while Wilson was playing the back nine. They are one stroke ahead of Bernhard Langer, who is 2 under through 11 holes. Other players under par include Ken Tanigawa, Ricardo Gonzalez, and defending champion Retief Goosen, all at 1 under.
