Chad Gable Challenges Rey Mysterio for Intercontinental Title

Chad Gable has identified Rey Mysterio as his first challenger for the Intercontinental Championship during WWE Raw. Gable praised Mysterio's contributions as the general manager of AAA and acknowledged his upcoming World Heavyweight title shot.

Mysterio accepted the challenge, stating he still has much to offer in the ring. Gable plans to discuss the title match with Adam Pearce, although no date has been set yet. This match will mark Gable's first title defense since winning the championship from Penta at WWE SummerSlam and will be their second singles encounter, the first having taken place in October 2022.

In the main event of Raw, Solo Sikoa attempted to break away from The Bloodline but was ultimately pinned by Jey Uso after a top rope splash, leading to his delivery to Roman Reigns on the following week's show.
