The draw for the league phase of the 2026-27 Champions League is set for Thursday, August 27 at 17:00 BST in Monaco. A total of 36 teams will participate, with 29 already qualified and seven spots to be filled through upcoming qualifiers.
In the league phase, each team will compete against eight different opponents, with four matches at home and four away. Teams will be divided into four pots based on their UEFA club coefficient rankings from the five seasons ending in 2026.
Premier League teams Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal are in pot one, alongside Paris St-Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid. Aston Villa and Manchester United are in pot two. The final seven teams will be determined by ongoing qualifying matches, with several teams vying for positions in pots three and four.
