Championship, League One, and League Two Matches to be Broadcast Live at 3pm
This Saturday, a total of 25 matches from the Championship, League One, and League Two will be broadcast live in the United Kingdom, despite the typical 3pm blackout rule.
The blackout, which prevents live broadcasts of matches from 14:45 to 17:15, is based on Uefa's Article 48. This article allows football associations to designate certain hours during which matches cannot be shown on television.
This weekend, the Premier League is not in action, and with only six Championship matches scheduled at 15:00, the conditions for enforcing Article 48 are not met. Consequently, all matches, including nine from League One and ten from League Two, will be available for live viewing on Sky Sports. The blackout will resume when the Premier League returns on the weekend of 22-23 August.
