Chandler Smith and Carson Brown Unite at Richard Childress Racing
Chandler Smith and Carson Brown have officially teamed up at Richard Childress Racing (RCR) in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series, a collaboration that has been developing over the past three years.
RCR's Danny Lawrence noted that the recruitment of Brown began when Mike Dillon, RCR's COO, recognized Brown's talent in Late Models. Meanwhile, Smith was transitioning from Kaulig Racing and had been in discussions with Joe Gibbs Racing before RCR expressed interest in him.
The pairing of Smith and Brown is seen as beneficial, as both drivers share similar racing backgrounds. They have already established a rapport, which is crucial for teamwork in racing. Smith aims for a championship, while Brown is focused on learning and adapting to the new challenges ahead.
