Chargers' Joe Alt Misses Practice, Expected to Sit Out Sunday

Joe Alt, the right tackle for the Chargers, was among eight players who did not practice on Wednesday due to a neck injury. Reports indicate that he is expected to be unavailable for the game against the Broncos on Sunday.

Alt sustained the injury late in the first half of a previous game, leading to Travis Burke stepping in as his replacement. In addition to Alt, the Chargers' practice also saw the absence of left tackle Rashawn Slater, offensive lineman Trevor Penning, safety Derwin James, cornerback Donte Jackson, left guard Kayode Awosika, wide receiver Ladd McConkey, and outside linebacker Khalil Mack.

Several other players, including cornerback Cam Hart and quarterback Trey Lance, were limited in their participation due to various injuries.
