Chargers Place WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith on Injured Reserve
The Los Angeles Chargers have placed wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith on injured reserve following a hamstring injury sustained during their recent loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Lambert-Smith, who was a fifth-round draft pick last year, participated in only two special teams snaps in the game. During his rookie season, he recorded five receptions for 51 yards and one touchdown across ten games.
To fill the vacant roster position, the Chargers signed wide receiver Gary Jennings from their practice squad. Jennings has prior experience with the Dolphins and has also played in the UFL. Additionally, cornerback Isas Waxter was added to the practice squad as part of the team's roster adjustments.
