Chargers to Face Broncos Without Key Players
The Los Angeles Chargers will be without both of their starting offensive tackles for their game against the Denver Broncos this Sunday.
Left tackle Rashawn Slater is being placed on injured reserve following ankle surgery, while right tackle Joe Alt has been ruled out due to a neck injury. Additionally, safety Derwin James will miss the game because of a hamstring injury. The team has also ruled out wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Brenen Thompson, along with offensive lineman Kayode Awosika, cornerback Donte Jackson, and offensive lineman Trevor Penning.
Quarterback Trey Lance is listed as doubtful with a groin issue, leaving DJ Uiagalelei as a potential backup for Justin Herbert. Other players, including tight end Charlie Kolar and wide receiver Ladd McConkey, are also facing questionable statuses for the match.
