Chargers Welcome Back Key Receivers for Game Against Chiefs
The Los Angeles Chargers are set to have Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston back for their Week 6 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Both receivers were previously sidelined during last week's loss to the Denver Broncos.
McConkey, who has recorded 12 receptions for 183 yards and one touchdown this season, and Johnston, with seven receptions for 108 yards, are now off the injury report. However, the Chargers will be without safety Derwin James, offensive tackle Joe Alt, guard Kayode Awosika, receiver Tre Harris, and cornerback Donte Jackson, all ruled out due to various injuries.
Cornerback Rodney Shelley is doubtful after missing practice for two days, while several other players, including defensive lineman Jamaree Caldwell and outside linebacker Bud Dupree, are listed as questionable. The Chargers aim to avoid starting the season 0-6 for the first time since 2000.
