Charles Leclerc Expresses Concerns Over Overtaking at Mexican Grand Prix
Charles Leclerc has expressed doubts about the possibility of overtaking at the Mexican Grand Prix, indicating that the race order will likely be determined in the initial corners at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
Despite topping both practice sessions, Leclerc qualified third, with his teammate Lewis Hamilton securing pole position alongside George Russell from Mercedes. Leclerc noted that while he is confident in Ferrari's race pace, the low-grip conditions at the circuit could hinder overtaking opportunities.
Leclerc mentioned that attempts to overtake during practice were challenging, and he believes that the standings after Turn 3 will be difficult to change. He currently ranks fifth in the drivers' standings with 233 points, as the competition for second place intensifies. The Mexican Grand Prix is scheduled for November 1 at 2 PM local time.
