Charlie Woods Remains Four Strokes Behind at Junior Players Championship

Charlie Woods concluded his second round at the Junior Players Championship with a score of 73, remaining four strokes behind the leaders. The 17-year-old golfer, son of Tiger Woods, played at the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Woods started strong with birdies on the second and third holes but lost those gains with bogeys on the fourth and sixth holes. After making pars on the next three holes, he turned even for the round and one under for the tournament. He briefly improved to two under after a birdie on the tenth hole, but subsequent bogeys on the 11th, 12th, and 16th holes brought him back to even.

Despite the ups and downs, Woods managed to par the challenging 17th hole and finished with a birdie on the 18th. He is currently tied for 14th place overall. The leaders, Sam Carraher, Giuseppe Puebla, and Dawson Lew, are at four under par, while first-round leader Chase Bauer is one stroke behind.
