Chase Briscoe Enjoys New NASCAR Package at Daytona
NASCAR drivers faced uncertainty during the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona, racing with a new package designed to enhance competition. With teams entering the race without prior knowledge of how the changes would affect performance, expectations were high.
Chase Briscoe, a driver for Joe Gibbs Racing, expressed his enjoyment of the race, particularly during the first stage when drivers were still adjusting to the new dynamics. He noted that he felt in control throughout the race, although fuel management became a challenge as the race progressed. Despite some difficulties, Briscoe looked forward to the upcoming races, feeling confident about his team's performance.
Briscoe and his teammate Denny Hamlin are both in strong positions for the championship, with all four JGR drivers currently ranked in the top six of the standings as the Chase begins. Briscoe is particularly optimistic heading into the next race at Darlington, where he has previously secured victories.
