Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney Assist Stalled 23XI Cars at Darlington
In the NASCAR Cup race at Darlington, Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney provided assistance to Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, whose cars stalled after a rain delay.
As the race resumed, Wallace's No. 23 and Reddick's No. 45 23XI Racing cars failed to restart on pit lane. Reddick communicated that while the voltage was fine, the starters were not functioning. With NASCAR's push truck not needed, Elliott helped restart Reddick's car by giving it a push, despite concerns from his team about potential clutch damage.
Blaney also assisted Wallace in a similar manner, allowing both cars to re-fire quickly. Reddick finished the race in third place, Blaney in fourth, Wallace in eighth, and Elliott in fourteenth. Christopher Bell won the race and is now close to the championship lead.
