Chauncey Wiggins Transfers to Gonzaga from Florida State
Chauncey Wiggins, a forward who previously played for Florida State, has announced his commitment to Gonzaga.
Wiggins entered the transfer portal in April following a season with the Seminoles, where he started 30 of 32 games and achieved career highs of 13.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, shooting 47.9% from the field and 38.7% from beyond the arc.
Prior to his time at Florida State, the 6-foot-10 player spent three seasons at Clemson, averaging 8.3 points and 2.9 rebounds during his junior year. His transfer to Gonzaga is expected to enhance their frontcourt with his scoring ability and long-range shooting skills. Wiggins has also been granted a fifth year of eligibility, which may allow him to compete in the 2026-27 season, pending NCAA regulations.
