Chaz Mostert Secures Victory for Walkinshaw TWG Racing at The Bend

Walkinshaw TWG Racing achieved a notable first and third place finish in the opening race of Supercars' endurance series at The Bend in South Australia.

Chaz Mostert finished first, followed by Ryan Wood in the black GR Supras, while Kai Allen of Grove Racing took second place with co-driver Tim Slade. Mostert, who started from 11th position, won the race by a margin of 18.48 seconds.

The race featured challenging wet conditions, prompting most teams to start with their co-drivers. The event was marked by several incidents, including a safety car deployment that affected the race order. The next major event in the Supercars calendar is the Bathurst 1000, scheduled for October 8-11.
