Cheating Scandal Erupts at Tour de Guadeloupe

During stage 4 of the Tour de Guadeloupe, two cyclists were caught cheating by clinging to a speeding team car in an attempt to catch up with the peloton. The incident involved Nicholas Narraway and Jacquet Cretides, who were filmed taking a tow from the Competitive Edge team car on Monday.

Cretides, who races for Uni Sport Lamentinois, was disqualified from the stage, while Narraway, a member of Competitive Edge, finished but was also removed from the race. Both riders received a fine of 100 CHF and lost 25 UCI points. Additionally, Christopher Drummond, the team car's director, was fined 100 CHF, and the car was excluded from the next stage.

This incident adds to the history of cheating controversies at the Tour de Guadeloupe, which has seen similar cases in the past, including two Dutch riders attempting to hide behind a parked car during the 2025 edition.
