Chelsea Green has shared an injury update as WWE SmackDown approaches this week. The Interim WWE Women’s Champion posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories, showing her injury around the orbital bone and expressing hope for a swift recovery.

The injury occurred during a tag team match on August 7, where Green teamed with Tiffany Stratton against Fatal Influence. The injury was sustained when Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley executed a finishing move, resulting in Reid landing on Green's head, which raised concerns backstage.

This incident followed closely after Green won the Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam in a Fatal Five-Way Ladder Match. The reigning champion, Rhea Ripley, is currently sidelined due to a torn meniscus.
