Chelsea Plans Player Sales Amid Summer Transfer Window
Chelsea is preparing to offload a significant number of players as the summer transfer window approaches its conclusion, aiming to balance their financial outlay. The club has already generated £160 million from player sales this window, trailing only Newcastle and Aston Villa in total sales.
With a squad exceeding 40 players, Chelsea anticipates multiple departures in the upcoming weeks. Trevoh Chalobah has already transferred to Como for up to £30.8 million, while Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi are also expected to leave. Napoli has shown interest in Badiashile, offering around £20 million, but Chelsea values him at £30 million. Disasi is priced at a minimum of £25 million.
Interest in other players is also growing, including Nicolas Jackson, who is valued at £65 million, and Mamadou Sarr, who may be loaned out. Chelsea is not actively seeking to sell Malo Gusto, valuing him at £75 million. Meanwhile, Manchester City is reportedly considering a late move for Enzo Fernandez, who Chelsea values at £120 million, despite not being on the market.
