Chelsea Rejects Leeds' Loan Bid for Mykhailo Mudryk
Chelsea has declined a season-long loan proposal from Leeds United for winger Mykhailo Mudryk, as the offer did not meet their expectations.
Negotiations are ongoing, with Mudryk reportedly interested in joining Leeds. The 25-year-old is looking to regain match fitness after a lengthy absence from football due to a ban that ended in July. He has participated in Chelsea's pre-season matches under new manager Xabi Alonso.
Leeds is currently the leading candidate for Mudryk's loan, as they are willing to sign him without a purchase option, which allows Chelsea to maintain control over his future. Other clubs, including Brentford and Coventry City, have shown interest, but Chelsea's preference is to keep Mudryk in the Premier League.
