Chicago Bears Monitor Injuries Ahead of Seahawks Game
The Chicago Bears resumed practice on Tuesday as they prepare for their Monday night matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Although the first injury report will not be available until Thursday, several injury concerns have already emerged.
Three players were absent from practice: running back Kyle Monangai, cornerback Malik Muhammad II, and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson. Monangai has been sidelined for the last three games due to a turf toe injury. Muhammad left last Thursday's game against the New England Patriots early, and Stevenson's ongoing injury issues have left the Bears short-handed at cornerback.
In a roster move, the Bears signed running back Zavier Scott from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, releasing cornerback Nick McCloud to make space. Scott's promotion comes after his strong performance on special teams. Meanwhile, linebacker T.J. Edwards returned to practice after missing two weeks due to a hamstring injury.
