Chiefs Cornerback Chris Roland-Wallace Ejected for Punching Opponent
The Kansas City Chiefs faced a setback during their game against the Los Angeles Chargers when cornerback Chris Roland-Wallace was ejected for throwing a punch.
The incident occurred after Chargers right tackle Alex Harkey knocked Roland-Wallace down following the whistle on the first play of the fourth quarter. Initially, officials issued offsetting unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, but a replay review led to Roland-Wallace's disqualification.
Before his ejection, Roland-Wallace recorded four tackles, including one for a loss, and had an interception that was nullified by a controversial roughing the passer penalty. Additionally, the Chiefs lost right tackle Jaylon Moore to a concussion, with Joshua Ezeudu stepping in to fill the position.
