Chiefs Place Brashard Smith on IR, Activate Cooper McDonald
The Kansas City Chiefs have made roster changes prior to their upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks. Running back Brashard Smith has been placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, which will sideline him for at least four games.
In response, the Chiefs have signed Jaydn Ott from their practice squad to fill the running back position. Ott, who went undrafted from Oklahoma this year, has yet to play in any regular season games. Additionally, linebacker Cooper McDonald has been activated from injured reserve after missing time due to a knee injury, having previously played in Week 1. To complete their roster adjustments, wide receiver Justin Watson has been temporarily elevated from the practice squad.
