Chiefs Remain Undefeated with Win Over Chargers
The Kansas City Chiefs achieved a 22-6 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in their home game on Sunday, maintaining their undefeated record at 5-0 for the season.
Early in the game, the Chiefs scored nine points on their first two possessions. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert struggled, throwing his eighth interception of the season, while the Chiefs' defense recorded four sacks against him. The loss leaves the Chargers winless at 0-6 as they head into their bye week.
Despite the strong defensive performance, the Chiefs had a lackluster second half, failing on a fourth down and experiencing a fumble from punt returner Nikko Remigio. Running back Kenneth Walker contributed significantly with two touchdowns and 128 rushing yards. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 23 of 30 passes for 272 yards, though a missed field goal and an interception limited the scoring. The Chiefs will face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7, while the Chargers will play the Rams in Week 8.
