Chiefs Remove G.E.H.A Field Branding from Arrowhead Stadium

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that their home stadium will no longer carry the G.E.H.A Field branding, reverting to its original name, Arrowhead Stadium. This change was confirmed on Wednesday.

Despite the name change, G.E.H.A will remain a significant partner for the Chiefs, with the original naming agreement initially set to last until the 2031 season. Chiefs president Mark Donovan emphasized the mutual decision to honor the stadium's history and the Chiefs organization.

Raj Vanilla, G.E.H.A’s EVP of growth and strategy, expressed pride in their partnership and the decision to restore the stadium's iconic name, which is deeply associated with the Chiefs community. Arrowhead Stadium, which opened in 1972, was temporarily referred to as Kansas City Stadium during the FIFA World Cup this summer. The Chiefs also plan to build a new domed stadium in Kansas, expected to be completed by the 2031 season.
