Chiefs Rookie Cornerback Mansoor Delane Questionable to Return Due to Shoulder Injury
Mansoor Delane, a rookie cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs, is listed as questionable to return after suffering a shoulder injury during a game against the Denver Broncos.
Delane intercepted Bo Nix on his third play of the game but landed on his right shoulder following a tackle by Courtland Sutton after a 5-yard return. He had previously entered training camp with a right shoulder injury and was in the training room while the Chiefs were on the field for the Broncos' second drive.
In addition to Delane, Chiefs linebacker Cooper McDonald also sustained an injury, suffering a knee issue while covering a kickoff after a touchdown run by Patrick Mahomes. McDonald is also questionable to return as his injury is being further evaluated.
