Chiefs Wide Receivers Suffer Injuries During Training Camp

During Saturday's training camp practice, the Kansas City Chiefs faced setbacks as two wide receivers were injured.

Rookie Cyrus Allen was taken off the field on a cart due to a lower left leg injury, which is currently being assessed. Third-year player Xavier Worthy also exited the practice with a shoulder injury, the severity of which is still under evaluation.

Worthy had previously missed time last season after dislocating his shoulder and concluded the year with 42 receptions for 532 yards and one touchdown. The Chiefs may need to consider strengthening their wide receiver position if either injury results in a prolonged absence.
