Chigozie Anusiem Suffers Leg Injury During Preseason Game

During a preseason game against the Texans on Thursday night, Raiders cornerback Chigozie Anusiem suffered a serious leg injury in the third quarter.

Anusiem was playing on the punt team when he was tackled from behind. Following the injury, he was seen with a vacuum splint on his leg and was transported off the field using a cart, while his teammates expressed their support as he headed to the training room.

Last season, Anusiem participated in 54 special teams snaps across three games for the Raiders. At the time of the injury, the Raiders were trailing 20-3 in the game.
