Chloe Molloy and Charlie Curnow Make AFL History
Chloe Molloy and Charlie Curnow of the Sydney Swans have made history by both winning goal-kicking awards in their respective leagues during the same season. Molloy's impressive 28-goal campaign in the AFLW in 2026 has secured her place in the league's history, while Curnow's outstanding performance earned him the Coleman Medal.
Molloy scored four goals against Fremantle, surpassing last year's winner, Indy Tahau. Curnow, in his debut season with the Swans, achieved a remarkable total of 69 goals throughout the home-and-away season.
This achievement marks only the second instance of players from the same club winning the goal-kicking awards in both leagues, with the previous occurrence happening in 2021 when Carlton's Darcy Vescio and Harry McKay achieved similar success.
