Chris Buescher Reflects on Costly Car Investment
NASCAR driver Chris Buescher recently discussed a costly financial decision regarding a vehicle during an appearance on the Racin' With the Boys podcast. He revealed that he invested heavily in an '08 F250, which he has had to rebuild multiple times, ultimately spending over six figures on a truck now valued at around $18,000.
Buescher's experience resonates with many car enthusiasts who have also poured money into vehicles that may not have been worth the investment. Fellow racer Ryan Preece supported Buescher's story, noting that such financial missteps are common among racers. Preece shared his own experience of parking a beloved car in a field for years after it broke down.
Despite his past vehicle troubles, Buescher is currently in a strong financial position, having recently signed a multi-year contract extension with RFK Racing.
