Chris Fagan Appointed Director of Coaching at Carlton

Carlton Football Club has appointed Chris Fagan as its new director of coaching, a role designed to support head coach Josh Fraser. This announcement follows Fagan's recent success with the Brisbane Lions, where he secured a third consecutive premiership.

Fagan expressed enthusiasm for the position, highlighting his passion for helping others reach their potential in football. He previously enjoyed a decade as a senior coach and is eager to make a significant impact in this new capacity.

The appointment reunites Fagan with Graham Wright, Carlton's chief executive, with whom he worked at Hawthorn during a successful period that included three premierships. Fagan's move comes after a challenging season for Carlton, which saw the team miss the finals in 2025 and experience a coaching change in 2026.
