Christian Watson Returns to Game After Hospital Visit
On Thursday night, Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was taken from Lambeau Field in an ambulance after sustaining a rib injury and spitting up blood. Following an hour of medical evaluation at a hospital, he returned to the stadium and rejoined his team on the field.
Watson reported that he was initially reluctant to undergo a CT scan but was reassured that there was no internal bleeding. He expressed his determination to play through pain, emphasizing the importance of being on the field after previous injuries had sidelined him.
In the game, Watson recorded eight receptions for a total of 113 yards, with six catches for 100 yards occurring before his hospital visit and two catches for 13 yards after his return.
