Christopher Bell Finishes Second Again at Iowa Speedway

Christopher Bell experienced his seventh second-place finish of the 2026 season during the Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway, where he finished just behind his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Ty Gibbs.

During the final round of green flag pit stops, Gibbs gained the lead by taking only two tires compared to Bell's four. Despite closing in on Gibbs in the final laps, Bell was unable to overtake him, marking his third runner-up finish in the last four races.

Bell's performance allowed him to move up from 10th to 6th in the Cup Series standings, earning 50 points and a Stage 2 victory. However, he remains winless for 30 races as he heads into the upcoming race at Richmond on August 15.
