CJ Carr Leads 2026 Heisman Trophy Odds Over Arch Manning
CJ Carr has emerged as the frontrunner for the 2026 Heisman Trophy, with odds of +700, slightly ahead of Arch Manning at +750. Both players are generating significant interest as the college football season nears.
In the previous season, Carr, as a freshman, showcased impressive stats, completing 66.6% of his passes for 2,741 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only six interceptions. Manning, who had a rocky start to the 2025 season, rebounded strongly, finishing seventh in the nation for touchdown passes and tenth in passing yards during the latter part of the season.
Other notable contenders include Jeremiah Smith and Julian Sayin from Ohio State, both of whom were in the Heisman conversation last year. Sayin was a finalist in 2025, while Smith had a standout season as a wide receiver. Additionally, Jayden Maiava from USC is also in the mix, aiming to bring the Heisman back to the Trojans.
