Claressa Shields Dominates Kaye Scott to Reclaim Titles
Claressa Shields made a strong comeback to middleweight on Sunday, defeating Kaye Scott in the sixth round to regain the WBA and WBC titles in Atlanta.
This fight marked Shields' first appearance in the middleweight division since 2023, as she dropped three weight classes to face the 42-year-old Australian. Shields showcased her dominance throughout the match, achieving her fourth career stoppage and improving her professional record to 19-0.
Shields, who is also the undisputed heavyweight champion, expressed the challenges of her training camp, noting a significant weight cut of 38 pounds.
