Cleveland Browns Release Defensive End Nadame Tucker
The Cleveland Browns made roster changes on Wednesday by signing defensive tackle Eric Johnson and releasing defensive end Nadame Tucker from their practice squad.
Tucker's time with the Browns was short-lived, having joined the team as an undrafted free agent earlier this fall. He gained attention after a standout season at Western Michigan, where he was named MAC Defensive Player of the Year and earned third-team All-American honors, recording 14.5 sacks and 21 tackles for loss.
Despite his impressive college performance, questions about his consistency led to him going undrafted. After a brief stint with the Los Angeles Chargers, he joined the Browns on September 8. His release indicates a shift in the team's depth strategy along the defensive line, allowing Tucker to seek new opportunities in his professional career.
