Cody Bradford Reinstated from Injured List by Rangers

The Texas Rangers announced the reinstatement of left-handed pitcher Cody Bradford from the 60-day injured list on Wednesday. Bradford has been sidelined for the entire season due to recovery from an internal brace procedure on his left elbow, which took place in late June 2025.

At 28 years old, Bradford is expected to enhance the Rangers' pitching lineup. He had a promising performance last season, recording a 3.54 ERA over 76 1/3 innings before his injury. His rehabilitation included four outings, gradually increasing his pitch count, and he did not allow any runs or walks in his last nine innings.

Bradford is set to start in today's game against the San Francisco Giants. His return allows the Rangers to adjust their rotation, moving MacKenzie Gore to the paternity list and potentially shifting Cal Quantrill back to a relief role. Additionally, veteran pitcher Jordan Montgomery is nearing a return after a successful minor league rehab outing.
