Colin Kaepernick Alleges Robert Kraft Used Collusion Tactics Against Him
Colin Kaepernick has accused New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft of employing similar tactics against him as he allegedly did with Macklemore, who was banned from several NFL stadiums.
Kaepernick's kneeling during the national anthem in 2016 effectively ended his NFL career, as he did not receive any contract offers during free agency. Following this, he filed a complaint alleging collusion among NFL owners.
In a recent podcast appearance, Kaepernick expressed that Kraft's actions reflect a willingness to collude against those who take a stand contrary to the interests of NFL owners. Despite filing a grievance and reaching a settlement with the NFL in 2019, Kaepernick has not been able to secure a return to the league, and at 38 years old, his chances appear slim.
