Collingwood Names Noah Howes for AFL Debut Against West Coast
Collingwood has announced that Noah Howes will make his AFL debut in their upcoming match against West Coast at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
The 20-year-old defender, who stands at 196cm, was selected with the 15th pick in the 2025 mid-season draft. Initially starting as a key forward, Howes transitioned to defense in 2026 and has become a vital player for the Magpies, appearing in 12 games this season.
Collingwood has faced significant injury challenges recently, losing key defender Jeremy Howe and winger Harry Perryman to injuries. Captain Darcy Moore is out for the season, and vice-captain Brayden Maynard will miss at least two weeks. Currently, Collingwood is in ninth place on the ladder and needs a victory against the Eagles to secure a wildcard spot.
