Collingwood's young players are gaining recognition for their performances, silencing previous doubts about the team's youth depth. The club, often criticized for relying on veteran players like Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom, has seen a resurgence from its younger athletes in the latter part of the season.

Notable young players such as Nick Daicos, Ed Allan, Roan Steele, Angus Anderson, Liam Puncher, Charlie West, and Sam Swadling have showcased their skills, particularly during a recent match against Hawthorn. In that game, Swadling recorded 29 disposals, Allan contributed 28 disposals and a goal, while Steele added 17 disposals and two goals.
