Colts Add Mecole Hardman and Thomas Morstead to Practice Squad
The Indianapolis Colts have announced the addition of wide receiver Mecole Hardman and punter Thomas Morstead to their practice squad. This move comes alongside the release of wide receiver Eli Pancol from the squad.
Mecole Hardman, 28, was originally a second-round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019. He completed the final year of his four-year rookie contract with the Chiefs before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2023, when he signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets. Hardman was later traded back to the Chiefs, reuniting with his former team, and signed a one-year contract for 2024. After a brief period with the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills, he was released near the end of training camp.
In 2025, Hardman participated in two games for the Bills before his recent signing with the Colts.
