Colts Coach Affirms Daniel Jones as Starting Quarterback
The Indianapolis Colts have reaffirmed Daniel Jones as their starting quarterback despite his struggles this season. The team signed Jones to a two-year, $88 million extension during the offseason while he was recovering from a torn right Achilles.
After a 26-20 defeat to the Titans, coach Shane Steichen acknowledged the need to address Jones' turnover issues, as he has recorded multiple turnovers in three games this season, totaling nine after throwing two interceptions against Tennessee.
Jones himself noted the inconsistency in his performance, particularly in the recent game. Despite having first-round pick Anthony Richardson and Riley Leonard as options, Steichen emphasized that Jones will continue to lead the team.
