Colts Engage in Trade Talks for Running Back Jonathan Taylor
The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly open to trading running back Jonathan Taylor and are currently in discussions with several teams, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport.
Teams such as the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, and Seattle Seahawks have shown interest in the three-time Pro Bowler. Colts owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon has had detailed discussions with Taylor regarding his future with the team.
This season, Taylor has rushed for 587 yards and eight touchdowns, alongside 17 receptions for 178 yards in seven games. The Colts have already traded other key players, but Taylor's contract, which runs through 2028 for a total of $24.46 million, makes him a valuable asset. Since being drafted in 2020, he has accumulated 8,185 rushing yards and 77 touchdowns.
