Colts Part Ways with Defensive Tackle Colby Wooden
The Indianapolis Colts are releasing defensive tackle Colby Wooden, as reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Wooden, who is 25 years old, was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft after playing at Auburn.
After being traded to the Colts this offseason in exchange for linebacker Zaire Franklin, Wooden signed a restructured two-year deal worth $18 million. He was set to earn a base salary of $1,145,000 in 2026. During the 2025 season, Wooden played in all 17 games for the Packers, accumulating 50 total tackles, six tackles for loss, and one pass defended.
